[ephemeral]

the bushes outside my dorm are laced with cobwebs. one morning after a slight shower, these cobwebs hung heavily with crystals of raindrops. it looked like christmas came early, and the bushes were dolling themselves up for the festive season.

today, it rained again. this time, the water drowned the cobwebs.

life is ephemeral. treasure the beautiful things, the things you love, when you still have it, because you never know what might happen that will take it away from you. i've learnt.
